Torpedoes and other underwater applications
OTS is finding significant success in transferring its 20+ years
of torpedo expertise to other underwater applications that
utilize similar technology and dimensions. As current designs of
Unmanned Underwater Vehicles and targets are 21" and 13" in
diameter, OTS torpedo tooling and capabilities prove a perfect
match in similar technology.
Further, OTS is one of a select few firms that has powder paint
capability to Weapon Specification WS22351, as required on torpedoes.
OTS also has the ability to test cable assemblies and various
mechanical assemblies to P1 depth pressure .
In summary, Underwater Vehicles and Torpedoes are similar in
product and environment. It requires exceptionally high quality, and
understanding of the environment the product must work in. OTS
has the torpedo experience supporting this critical environment.
